Anchorage, Alaska — Ravn Alaska was awarded a 2014 Platinum MarCom Award in the “Website Redesign” category for their website (www.flyravn.com). The MarCom Awards is an international, creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
With a fully redesigned and fresh look, Ravn Alaska’s responsive website is accessible by desktop computer, tablet or phone.
“Our design agency, Gere Donovan Creative, helped us create this great website and we’re so excited about all of the features and benefits we’re able to pass onto our customers. With the easier navigation, attractive graphics and responsive design, this product really pushes our brand to the next level,” said Steve Smith, director of sales and marketing for Ravn Alaska.
The MarCom Awards 2014 competition received over 6,500 entries from the United States, Canada and 15 other countries. Winners were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts: marketing, publications, marketing/promotion, public service/pro bono, creativity and electronic/interactive. Award winners range from Fortune 500 companies to individual communicators. Of those winners, only 17 percent of winners were awarded the platinum award in this year’s competition.
The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, consisting of industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
