Ravn Alaska Thanks Active-Duty Military with $50* Round Trip Special Sale on Veterans Day

On Saturday, Nov. 11th, Veterans Day, Ravn Alaska will launch its first-ever military special, a $50* round-trip fare for active-duty military personnel and their families.

The one-day offering is for weekend travel through Feb. 2018 between Anchorage and Fairbanks, Anchorage and Homer,  Anchorage and Kodiak, and Anchorage and Valdez.

“As Alaska’s largest regional airline, Ravn wants to thank all active-duty personnel based here in Alaska for their service to our country,” Said Ravn Alaska President & CEO Dave Pflieger.

This special Veterans Day fare is only available to active-duty military I.D. cardholders for one day only on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11. Reservations must be made in person and are available for purchase at any Ravn Alaska ticket counter.

From aurora viewing opportunities and the World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks to the Ice Climbing Festival in Valdez and touring cultural museums in Kodiak, Veterans Day airfares will make it easier for those serving in the military to see some of the most anticipated winter events in Alaska.

Ticket sales are not available on flyravn.com or via Ravn Alaska telephone reservations department. Travel valid on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only from November 11, 2017 -February 25, 2018. Blackout dates apply: November 26, 2017 – November 27, 2017 and December 22, 2017 – December 26, 2017. Active duty U.S. military personnel and dependents with are each allowed up to 5 pieces of checked baggage. Baggage pieces may not exceed 50 lbs. each and must not be larger than 115 linear inches without incurring overweight or oversize fees. While the first 5 baggage pieces are free; additional bags are $75 each. Ravn Alaska will make every effort to accommodate the 5 piece military baggage allowance. However, due to operational limitations additional pieces will be tagged voluntary separation and are subject to space availability. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or all days. If nonstop service is offered during the advertised travel period, the advertised fare applies to the nonstop flights only. These fares are nonrefundable and are only available for flights marketed as Ravn Alaska. In the event of passenger-initiated itinerary changes after ticketing, original ticket will have no residual value. Fares include U.S. government taxes and fees. All fares are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice, and other restrictions apply. Some markets may not operate daily service.
